How to choose your silk pillowcase
Every silk pillowcase in this collection is made from the same fabric: 100% organic mulberry silk, 22 momme, Grade 6A, with silk on both faces, so you can flip the pillow. That leaves size and colour to choose. Match the size to your pillow and measure it if you are unsure; the sizes on offer are shown above.
Momme is a unit of fabric weight; 22 momme is about 95 g/m² and, by the trade convention, the most common weight among quality pillowcases. The closure is a hidden YKK zip under an inner fabric flap. The zip keeps the pillow in place; close it before each wash.
The care label sets the maximum washing temperature. Use a protease-free detergent. Where machine washing is allowed, close the zip, turn the case inside out, put it in a mesh laundry bag and choose a delicate or silk programme.
